Nice pub, great food, lovely friendly staff, even when I had a problem with my food they sorted it straight away. I love coming here on my walks definitely recommend it.

This was my first visit, I was made very welcome by the staff. During my visit I chose a meal from the menu which arrived shortly after and I was not disappointed Well done to all the staff at 'The Highfield' and keep up the Great work

I’ve been coming to this pub on and off for a long time, and the standards never slip. The staff are smart, friendly and above all on the ball and excellent at good service. The food is always fresh and has that good pub grub quality, always tasty and cooked how you ask for it, and you’re never waiting long for your meals. It is nice and quiet and never rowdy, or noisy. The price is reasonable and it always has been great value, drinks included. If only other pubs could run as well as this one, I’d eat out more often! Five stars

Great and diverse menu (lots of vegetarian and vegan options) really friendly place and fast service. Accessible toilets. Chilled atmosphere, great selection of drinks at the bar. Highly recommend.

Awesome food served here. Three happy customers who all ordered roast dinner. Everyrhing was great. 1x beef and 1x chicken. Had robinsons mint cordial and that should have been made stronger or with lemonade but other than that everything was perfect.

Lovely meal here last night,food was beautiful,the young ladies behind the bar are so friendly and very helpful and the young man who bought our food to the table was really chatty and very helpful looking forward to calling in again x

We go Tuesdays and Fridays. We are served by Jo and Tracy. You could not ask for better service and brilliant atmosphere they create. We have never had a bad meal in all the time we have been going.
